Making good plants perfect
In principle three basic products may be made from the coir husk: pith, crush and fibre. Various fractions may be made through different ways of cutting, grinding and sieving. The mix of the different products determines the physical properties. Coir products become physically stable by aging them, which is done at our factories. Poor material or that which hasn’t been aged will shrink during cultivation, as a result of which the volume and the air content will drop and the substrate will become wetter. Uniformity in products and mixing is essential for physical homogeneity in a mixture.
